Bootcamp Level 1 aims to help you understand what’s happening around you and have various small talks with natives (neighbors, hairdressers, schoolteachers etc.) (A2). Bootcamp Level 2 is designed to help you deal with virtually any situation, opportunity, or problem you may come across (B1).

The bootcamp is designed to help you navigate your life abroad. It is organized along 4 principles: learn real-life stuff, learn by doing, get human support when needed, and speak French.
Classes are conducted in French (though explanations may be given in English or other languages if needed) and you’re expected to contribute actively. Grammar and vocabulary are explored using real-life examples and mandatory homework is assigned regularly to help consolidate what you learn.
You also get to practice listening, reading, writing, and speaking through interactions, role plays, and other practical exercises.
When you register, you take a placement test based on international standards to assess your level. Halfway through the program, you take a second test to check if you’re on track. Finally, you take a third test by the end of the program.
Yes. Zelyr’s instructors are all native French speakers. They also graduated from French as a foreign language studies and worked for years with prestigious institutions. Furthermore, they’re all polyglots and know that learning a language can be challenging and make you feel stupid or overwhelmed. They’re used to mispronunciation, verbs’ misconjugation, vocab misusage, Miss-Universe, mistakes, etc. Feel free to ask them to pause or repeat, They’ll gladly help you.
